Jasmin Strickland is a senior in the Health Sciences Academy at Bayside High School. She may appear to have quiet and bashful demeanor ,but  underneath lies a person with a burning passion for life. For example, she enjoys participating in an exorbitant amount of activities , such as running, playing the piano, listening to music ,  and spending time with loved ones.In addition to participating in many activities,  she is currently taking  challenging  advanced classes in school.  For instance this year she  had advanced placement US  government  advanced placement psychology, advanced placement statistic , and more. Moreover, since  Jasmin  is a Health Sciences academy student, she takes academy classes, and  this year she took only pathology and physiology part 2 . In these classes she learned  has deeped her knowledge about the   physiology and pathology of the human body. For example , she  has learned about various medical topics ,such as the gastrointestinal ,reproductive ,  the endocrine system , and many more throughout the school year. gained a great deal of knowledge and new skills. Furthermore, she is an active member of the community and volunteers biweekly at the Virginia Beach Kindred at Hospice Center.  In essence,  Jasmin's life is  filled with  happiness , hard work , and joy.
