Dear Mrs.Schwartz,

       

         I am truly grateful that I had you as  my English 10 Honors teacher my sophmore year oin highschool. Throughout the year I have gain tremendous knowledge about writing and analyzing literature. For example, at the beginningof the year I learned how to incorporate dashes into my essays as well as other types of writings. Learning how to use dashes correctly has help to  vary my sentence structure , and as a result improve my writing. Also, I learned how to improve  the flow of my writing by avoiding comma splicing. Reducing  the amount of  uncessary commas has helped to improve the flow of my essays throughout the school year. Moreover, a goal of mine for next year is to broadedn my vocabulary. The reason I created this goal is because I noticed in many of my essays I see the repitition of certain wors , that could be replaced with synonyms. All in all, I enjoyed being your student this year, and I again thank you for guiding me into becoming a better writer.
